Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own and manage the audit program within our nuclear quality assurance framework. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and specialists, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will write audit reports and maintain qualification records while ensuring independence from the work audited, collaborating with licensees and auditors across projects.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Hands-on auditing experience to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• Experience in construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• Ability to write audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without clarification.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead internal audits and supplier audits end-to-end.
• Supervise auditors and technical specialists on the audit team.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain qualification records and support external audits of our program.
