Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to oversee the audit program under our nuclear QA framework aligned with ASME NQA-1. You will plan annual audits, lead internal and supplier audits with a team, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you provide independence from the work audited, manage qualification files, and coordinate with licensee quality organizations. Travel to sites and facilities is required; a valid driver's license is necessary.

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualifiable within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on auditing experience.
• Auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1 experience.
• Writes audit reports that NRC inspectors can follow without a conversation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end—notification, evidence collection, findings, and reporting.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support external audits.
