Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear QA framework, written to ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal audits and supplier audits with a team of auditors and technical specialists, write the audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

On projects you are the person a licensee's quality organization audits against, so your records, your qualification file, and your independence from the work audited

Qualifications

• Current qualification as an NQA-1 Lead Auditor, or qualify within 90 days.
• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance with hands-on audit experience.
• Experience auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B and 10 CFR 21.
• ASQ CQA is a plus; writes audit reports for NRC-like review.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end and supervise auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate supplier items, recommend additions/removals to the approved list.
• Maintain qualification records and support external audits.
