Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own the audit program under our nuclear quality assurance system written to ASME NQA-1. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead internal and supplier audits with a team of auditors and technical specialists, write audit reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

You will supervise auditors, maintain qualification records, and support NRC-style audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in nuclear quality assurance.
• Qualification within 90 days: audited to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.
• ASQ CQA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program.
• Lead audits end to end and supervise auditors and specialists.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services.
• Perform surveillances and classify findings with objective evidence.
• Write audit reports and verify corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain lead-auditor qualification records and support audits of the program.
