Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Lead Auditor to own and drive the nuclear QA audit program, ensuring compliance with ASME NQA-1 standards. You will plan the annual audit schedule, lead audits with a team of auditors and specialists, write reports, and verify corrective actions to closure.

The role requires current NQA-1 Lead Auditor qualifications or ability to qualify within 90 days, and 5+ years in nuclear QA with hands-on audits per CFR and NQA-1. Travel to sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Qualified NQA-1 Lead Auditor within 90 days or able to qualify rapidly.
• 5+ years of nuclear quality assurance experience.
• Hands-on auditing to 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21 and NQA-1.
• Experience with construction materials testing, special inspection, or geotechnical services preferred.
• ASQ CQA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain the audit schedule for the nuclear QA program and internal/supplier audits.
• Lead audits end-to-end: notification, checklist, entrance/exit meetings, evidence gathering, report writing.
• Evaluate and audit suppliers of safety-related items and services; manage corrective actions to closure.
• Maintain lead-auditor and auditor qualification records and support audits of our program.
