Job summary

S&ME is seeking an experienced engineer or geologist to provide technical expertise and project management for civil, environmental, and geotechnical projects in the nuclear sector, plus commercial markets. The role may serve as PQAM or QAR within the Nuclear QA Program, guiding QA procedures, audits, and regulatory alignment.

The position requires willingness to travel to multiple office locations, collaborate with field staff, engineers, regulators, and clients, and deliver clear QA reporting

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental, construction, or related engineering field is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigations, construction, and/or engineering projects.
• Experience with nuclear projects is a plus; consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout our footprint, gaining hands-on experience on complex projects.
• Field coordination of drilling operations to collect soil samples and prepare boring logs.
• In-depth data analysis and decision-making focused on project success.
