Job summary

S&ME is seeking an experienced engineer or geologist for a full-time position supporting nuclear projects as a Project Quality Assurance Manager or Quality Assurance Representative. Responsibilities involve field coordination, quality assurance efforts, and in-depth data analysis.

The role offers flexibility to work in multiple locations including Atlanta, and candidates should possess skills in project management and quality assurance in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical investigations, construction, or engineering projects.
• Experience with nuclear projects preferred.
• Consulting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field coordination of drilling operations and soil sample collection.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis focused on project success.
• Prepare project proposals and reports.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to travel and work a rotational schedule

Work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Ability to stand for extended periods

Routinely lift and carry 40–50 lbs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, environmental, or related field
