Job summary

SIMCO, LLC is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for the WIPP site in Carlsbad, NM. You will lead design engineering and configuration management, coordinating with the WIPP project team to ensure designs support cost, schedule, procurement, and operations requirements.

The role requires a BE in engineering with 5+ years of related experience and familiarity with ESR/PMI/DPMR/ETO processes. Relocation and strong leadership are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with five years of related experience.
• Familiar with WIPP ESR, PMI, DPMR forms, and ETO evaluations.
• Experience with subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and proposals preferred.
• Management or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineering and configuration management teams.
• Support engineering designs, reviews, field engineering, and as-built activities.
• Bridge between engineering/design and project execution to meet cost, schedule, procurement, and operations.
