Job summary

Amentum is seeking a high performing Project Engineer II to lead the technical execution of High Hazard / High Consequence projects. The Project Engineer II is responsible for the technical oversight of engineering activities for simple to complex design projects, working with Project Managers, Supervising Discipline Engineers, and Managing Discipline Engineers to ensure superior engineering performance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 10+ years total engineering experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Professional Engineer license in good standing with ability to obtain licensure in various states.

Responsibilities

• Lead design activities ensuring safety, scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams and interfaces with customer.
• Manage technical change control and deliver engineering reports and forecasts.
• Prepare and issue Engineering Execution Plans and ensure customer requirements are included.
