Job summary

Amentum is hiring an Engineering Project Manager based in Oak Ridge, TN to plan, direct, and coordinate engineering for complex design projects within nuclear operations and engineering. You will ensure milestones and budgets are met for federal and commercial clients.

The role requires 8+ years of design experience, a PE license (Tennessee), and strong communication. Occasional travel and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of design experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels, internal and client organizations.
• PE license with ability to obtain a PE in Tennessee.
• BS degree in a related engineering design field.
• Experience in multi-discipline design projects.
• Management of large interdisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate engineering for assigned design projects to ensure goals are met within timeframes and funding parameters.
• Work on-site in Oak Ridge, TN with potential travel.
• Support development of life-changing infrastructure and collaborate with clients including DOE.
