Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to design, develop, and deploy engineering solutions and specialized equipment for nuclear customers.

You will perform hands-on execution, field support, and collaborate with clients across projects at our Rockdale facility and customer sites. Working with senior staff, you will develop customized solutions, support pilot-scale testing, and execute projects in office, shop, and field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear facilities.
• Strong problem-solving ability and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including technical reports.
• Willingness to perform hands-on work in industrial environments.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (~25-35%).
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug screening required for nuclear plant access.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to deliver technical solutions to complex operational and radiochemical challenges.
• Design and develop customer equipment solutions using engineering principles and CAD tools (SolidWorks / AutoCAD).
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing, and installation of specialized equipment.
• Perform pilot-scale testing of liquid processing and chemistry-related systems.
• Execute field support activities at nuclear facilities, including troubleshooting and servicing installed systems.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering analyses.
• Support in-plant project execution such as: Artifact sampling, Gamma spectroscopy, Chemical feed system servicing, Sample panel integration.
