Job summary

Globalpundits, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead structural design and construction oversight for nuclear and industrial facility projects.

The role emphasizes deep expertise in structural analysis and design, plus leadership of complex, first-of-a-kind challenges. The position requires broad experience with design codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, AWS, NFPA, OSHA) and proficiency in STAAD and MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in engineering with 5+ years of experience, or
• M.S. with 8+ years of experience, or
• B.S. with 10+ years of experience in design/analysis

Responsibilities

• Define the scope of technical programs and develop high-quality solutions to complex problems.
• Resolve complex structural engineering challenges using broad or specialized experience.
• Incorporate advanced practices and complex coordination into program planning.
• Provide technical leadership and be a recognized SME in the field.
• Direct programs seeking new approaches within and outside the department.
• Prepare reports and recommendations based on program results.
• Evaluate improvements when existing technology is inadequate.
• Stay current on advancements in the field and contribute to publications.
