Job summary

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support design, development, and deployment of engineering solutions and specialized equipment for nuclear industry customers.

This role blends hands-on execution, field support, equipment fabrication, and customer collaboration. Working with senior staff, you will develop customized solutions, support pilot-scale testing, and execute projects at our Rockdale facility and at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to nuclear facilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technical writing.
• Willingness to perform hands-on work in industrial environments.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~25–35%).
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug screening for nuclear plant access.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams and clients to deliver technical solutions.
• Support fabrication, assembly, testing, and installation of equipment.
• Perform pilot-scale testing of liquid processing and chemistry-related systems.
• Execute field support activities at nuclear facilities, including troubleshooting.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering analyses.
• Support in-plant project execution.
