Job summary

MS Technology, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support engineering and project execution activities for a client within the nuclear industry.

You'll partner teams, contractors, vendors, and suppliers to support the design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and startup of plant systems. You'll help develop engineering documentation, support quality and configuration management activities, participate in field walkdowns, assist with integrated testing efforts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited institution.
• Q-Clearance required.
• Experience in project engineering or project management.
• Background in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities throughout project execution.
• Support development and review of engineering designs, specifications, calculations, drawings, and other technical documentation.
• Work with engineering, construction, project controls, procurement, vendors, and operations to resolve technical and project issues.
• Coordinate engineering deliverables and monitor progress against project schedules and milestones.
• Support field activities, installation, testing, startup, and commissioning as required.
• Review vendor drawings, technical submittals, equipment specifications, and other engineering documentation.
• Assist with development and management of scopes of work, technical requirements, and project documentation.
• Identify technical risks, design conflicts, and project impacts and coordinate resolution with appropriate stakeholders.
• Support engineering changes, RFIs, field changes, and resolution of construction-related technical issues.
• Participate in project meetings, design reviews, constructability reviews, and project planning activities.
• Ensure engineering activities are performed in accordance with applicable codes, standards, quality requirements, and client procedures.
• Provide technical support to project management and communicate project status, issues, and priorities.
