Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is offering an Electrical Engineering Intern position in the Nuclear Power Group in the United States. You will design and modernize critical electrical systems for nuclear plants, support SMR and advanced reactor projects, and participate in life-extension and digital upgrade initiatives.

You will gain hands-on learning with experienced engineers and mentors while handling time-bound project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering calculations and design tasks for large nuclear power plants
• Utilize ETAP to perform power systems analysis and modeling
• Assist with selection and integration of major electrical power equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in technical reviews
• Gain exposure to professional licensure pathways and mentorship
