Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program is required.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical power systems design in a project team.
• Experience with medium and low voltage distribution systems and equipment selection.
• Experience as firm/client liaison in lead engineering role.
• Experience reviewing design drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in teams and individually.
• Detail oriented approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Electrical systems design for nuclear plant projects.
• Prepare calculations, load flow, short circuit, and power flow studies.
• Develop system impact analyses, cable ampacity, specs, and design reports.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers; participate in design reviews.
• Travel to client and vendor offices for reviews and site coordination.
