Sargent & Lundy in the United States is seeking an Electrical Engineer 1 to join the Nuclear Power Group. You will design and modernize electrical systems for nuclear plants, participate in life-extension and digital modernization projects, and work under senior engineers to gain licensure.

The role provides hands-on learning and exposure to industry standards and client interfaces. Experience with ETAP and a strong foundation in power systems are valued as you collaborate across engineering

Formación

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with power systems focus.
• Strong understanding of electrical power concepts and design.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Design and modernize electrical systems for existing nuclear plants and SMRs.
• Support life-extension and digital upgrade initiatives.
• Prepare engineering calculations and designs for safety-related systems.
• Use ETAP to perform power system analyses and modeling.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and interface with client stakeholders.
• Translate concepts into detailed drawings with designers.
• Work under senior engineers to learn and progress toward PE licensure.
