Job summary

ENERCON invites entry‑level Pipe Stress Engineers to join its Nuclear Design Group in the United States. You will collect field data, develop pipe stress models, and perform calculations to ensure piping safety under varied conditions, supporting nuclear plant upgrades and safety analyses.

Ideal candidates hold ABET‑accredited degrees in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering and can start between January 2026 and July 2027. Travel to client sites is expected as part of project work.

Qualifications

• ABET‑accredited degree required for engineering discipline.
• Available to start between January 2026 and July 2027.
• Strong written and verbal communications with client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pipe stress model development and data collection at field sites.
• Perform engineering calculations to verify piping integrity under thermal and seismic loads.
• Support nuclear plant upgrades and safety analyses as part of the NSG group.
