Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• 13+ years of education and/or relevant experience may satisfy requirements.
• Must be able to wear protective equipment, including respirator.
• Must be able to receive and perform assignments from written or oral instructions.
• Must be able to perform at the strenuous physical level required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate interpretation of drawings and designs to meet site conditions and manage those responsible for correcting issues.
• Review and approve planner prepared work packages for craftsman, technicians, operators, and support organizations handling high-hazard work.
• Ensure field walk downs with internal/external support to identify scopes, analyze hazards, and prepare work control documents.
• Coordinate with support organizations to ensure timely completion of mission deliverables and schedule adherence.
• Train/qualify Work Control personnel for high-hazard nuclear conditions.
• Provide direction on goals and procedures for asset management and work control processes at Y-12 site.
• Energize, organize, coordinate, and lead groups in Site Outage Planning.
