Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, via WECTEC Staffing Services, seeks a Sr. Nuclear Outage Mechanical Planner for a 1-year contract at nuclear facilities.

The role develops detailed work packages for maintenance, modifications, and surveillance, reporting to the onsite Manager in Homestead, FL. Requires 7+ years in nuclear plant work, with 4+ years in maintenance planning, and familiarity with ISI/IST, ASME XI, and related codes.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Associate's Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related technical field, or equivalent 10 years plant experience in a technical field.
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related science
• Experience: 7+ years of nuclear power plant experience, with at least 4 years in maintenance planning or equivalent technical role.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed work order task descriptions, including step-by-step instructions, material requirements, tool lists, and post-maintenance testing requirements.
• Plan complex maintenance activities including ASME Section XI work, ISI/IST programs, and modification packages.
• Ensure work packages comply with regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and plant procedures.
• Coordinate clearance requirements and equipment isolation strategies with Operations.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during the planning phase to prevent field delays.
