Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Perry, Ohio is seeking a capable analyst to support leadership by monitoring performance indicators and identifying early signs of decline within the department. You will develop and analyze data streams, provide technical input on nuclear operations, and drive operational improvements.

Responsibilities include delivering causal analyses, coordinating with INPO and industry peers, and preparing roll‑up trend reports to proactively identify gaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of experience or 10+ years of equivalent work experience in nuclear power.
• Subject Matter Expert with analytical and technology skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and time management capabilities.
• Technical understanding of nuclear operations plant processes, programs, and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge and application of OE and HU Programs, PI Tools and analysis techniques.
• Ability to work cross functionally to achieve desired results; collaborate with industry organizations.

Responsibilities

• IRIS monthly data: generate and manage operational reports across software platforms for INPO submissions; ensure data accuracy and compile summaries.
• Develop, monitor, and analyze key data streams to identify performance gaps and drive improvements.
• Coordinate data requests, logistics, and action plans with INPO, ORC, NEIL, NSRB, Fleet, and peers.
• Develop and deliver causal analysis products including HPIs and Root Cause Evaluations.
• Prepare roll-up trend analyses of observations and performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in data analysis and evaluation of system performance and activities.
