Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Perry, Ohio, invites applications for a senior Nuclear Performance Assessor to evaluate overall station performance and identify organizational gaps that affect targets for excellence.

The role reports to the Senior Director, Fleet Performance Assessment, and requires broad nuclear management experience, cross-functional skills, and the ability to elevate issues to plant managers and site leadership to ensure timely actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of nuclear power experience in various disciplines.
• Minimum of two years professional related experience at 1st level management.
• Broad background in nuclear power with experience in three or more departments.
• SRO license or management certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute the Performance Assessment function to improve site performance.
• Review performance of functional and cross-functional areas based on priority and performance.
• Assess site performance against industry performance excellence and related documents.
• Meet weekly with Senior Director, Fleet Performance Assessment and daily with Site Director of Organizational Effectiveness to debrief issues.
• Generate monthly and quarterly reports and provide input to governance committees.

Education

6 years of service in nuclear power in various disciplines
