Job summary

The Nuclear Medicine technologist at Wellstar provides age-appropriate care, performs exams, and sets up equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images. You will work in a full-time role with day shifts and a competitive benefits package.

Required qualifications include an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Nuclear Technology or equivalent, and BLS certification, with a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in nuclear medicine preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience with patients required; nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or Certified Nuclear Med Tech required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine exams per department procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, proper identification and monitoring.
• Prepare and operate imaging equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Maintain documentation and deliver quality images for radiologists.

Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
