Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging and care. You will prepare equipment, position patients, and perform exams per department protocols, exercising independent judgment to obtain quality studies.

The role requires an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and ARRT Nuclear Technology certification or equivalent, with BLS. Full-time hours Monday–Friday with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• All certifications required at hire unless stated.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech.

Responsibilities

• Operate NM equipment and perform imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, verify orders and patient identifiers.
• Maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
• Assist with infection control and quality audits.
• Provide compassionate patient education and care.
