Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and perform department exams per protocol. You will set up imaging equipment, position patients, document procedures and support timely study completion.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and attention to detail, with responsibilities spanning patient prep, imaging, quality control and collaboration with radiologists.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and gather patient history for procedures.
• Prepare and position patients; ensure correct identification and marking.
• Maintain equipment, sterile technique and infection control.
• Review images and support radiologists with quality assurance.
• Assist team and manage duties across NM department as assigned.
