The Nuclear Medicine technologist at Wellstar provides safe, age-appropriate patient care by performing all department exams per procedures. You set up equipment, position patients, and execute imaging with independence and clinical judgment to ensure high-quality diagnostic studies.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification with BLS.

Competenze

• Education: Associates Radiologic Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting caring for patients (may include clinical rotations).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of Nuclear medicine experience is preferred.

Mansioni

• Equipment: Adjust technique to obtain the best study and maintain image quality.
• Reports problems regarding malfunctioning equipment to supervisor or service provider.
• Cleans, disinfects and maintains equipment per infection control policy.
