RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time, day shift in Somerville, NJ. The role requires an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program graduate with NJ state license and ARRT/NMTCB certification, plus BLS.

PET experience and 2 years hospital experience are preferred. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and a $12,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Current NJ State license, ARRT and/or NMTCB.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs hot lab functions and QC procedures for gamma cameras following protocols.
• Identifies patients (IP/OP) before procedures and explains the process to patients.
• Obtains quality images using prescribed parameters and ensures test accuracy before release.
• Assists nuclear physician with imaging procedures and maintains department cleanliness.
• Adheres to hospital, state and federal rules and works harmoniously with staff.
