RWJBarnabas Health in Somerville, NJ seeks a qualified full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Nuclear Medicine department. The role involves day shifts, 40 hours per week, performing diagnostic imaging procedures and adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate graduated from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, has NJ licensure with ARRT/NMTCBBLS certification, and brings two years of hospital technologist experience. PET experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Two years hospital experience as a staff technologist.
• PET experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs hot lab functions and QA on gamma cameras following regulations.
• Calibrates dose calibrator and ensures test results are valid before release.
• Obtains best images using prescribed parameters and ensures patient comfort.
