RWJBarnabas Health is looking for a qualified full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Somerville, NJ. The position requires a graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program along with necessary state licenses and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Must possess a current NJ State license, ARRT and/or NMTCB.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all hot lab related functions.
• Calibrate the dose calibrator and perform QC procedures.
• Identify patients per hospital SOP before procedures.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients.
• Obtain best possible images using technical parameters.
• Assure tests are performed correctly prior to patient release.
• Assist nuclear physician with special imaging procedures.
• Maintain department in a neat and clean condition.
• Complete special assignments from supervisor on time.
