RWJBarnabas Health in Somerville, NJ, seeks a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist for the day shift. Requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, NJ state license, ARRT/NMTCBBLS certification, and about two years of hospital technologist experience. PET experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
PET experience is preferred.
Two years hospital experience as a staff technologist.

Responsibilities

Performs hot lab functions following regulations and safety rules.
Calibrates the dose calibrator and performs QC on gamma cameras.
Identifies patients and explains the procedures to ensure comfort.
Assists the nuclear physician with imaging procedures.
Maintains a neat, compliant department and supports other duties as needed.
