Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PRN role in Georgia. The technologist will perform imaging procedures, ensure patient safety, and operate NM equipment following department protocols.

You must have ARRT Nuclear Technology or a Nuclear Med Tech cert and a minimum of 1 year clinical experience. Responsibilities include patient preparation, quality imaging, and collaboration with the radiology team.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification required (or Instructor level).

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging studies per department procedures with accuracy and safety.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure proper patient identification and correct marker usage.
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness per infection control policies.
• Assist other technologists and support staff as needed.
