Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides care for patients undergoing Nuclear Medicine procedures, utilizing radioactive isotopes for diagnostics and therapeutics in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment to measure radiation, produce images, and relay data to physicians. Ensures safe handling of radioactive materials, especially radiopharmaceuticals administered orally or intravenously as prescribed by a licensed physician.

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
• State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist (Nuclear Medicine).
• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB).
