Qualifications

Job Summary and Qualifications

1. Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine studies.

2. Order, prepare, calibrate, storage, and administer radiopharmaceuticals

3. Operate various radiation detection devices.

4. Perform quality assurance

5. Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the Nuclear Medicine department

6. Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocols.

7. Enter proper patient charges upon completion of Nuclear exam

8. Perform quarterly inventories of radioactive sealed sources

What qualifications you will need:

REQUIRED: None

PREFERRED: Minimum of one year as a nuclear medicine technologist

REQUIRED: Graduate of accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Continuing education as required for licensure .

REQUIRED: Current licensure in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or CNMT (ARRT-N orCNMNT)

BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through American Red Cross
