The role you’ll contribute:

This position contributes to the department's goals by providing quality MRI services to patients from infancy through geriatrics undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in Imaging Services. Essential duties include obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and producing quality MRI images as per departmental protocols.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Performs quality MRI studies upon orders of licensed practitioners
• Verifies physician orders prior to scanning
• Consults with physicians, floor RNs, or radiologists for clarifications
• Uses two patient identifiers (name and DOB) matched with the arm band
• Verifies and reviews patient history before scanning

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
