Job Description

As a PRN MRI Technologist, you will perform MRI scans for our patients on an as-needed basis, providing timely and accurate imaging services in collaboration with our orthopedic specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
  2. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing concerns.
  3. Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  4. Operate MRI equipment and maintain high-quality imaging standards.
  5. Review images for quality assurance and completeness.
  6. Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic staff to discuss imaging findings.
  7. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
  8. Adhere to safety and compliance regulations in imaging practices.
Qualifications
  1. Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  2. Current ARRT (R) certification and MRI certification.
  3. Prior experience in MRI preferred, especially in an orthopedic setting.
  4. Strong knowledge of MRI technology and protocols.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule.
