Job summary

Advocate Health in Barrington, IL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time role at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. The position offers a 28-hour work week with Monday, Wednesday and Friday shifts and rotating Thursdays, plus on-call and weekend rotations with a 60-minute response time.

Responsibilities include selecting imaging techniques, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, updating records in HIS/RIS/PACS, and ensuring ALARA safety.

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT (N) or NM certification with CPR.
• Knowledge of HIS/RIS/PACS systems and radiopharmacy handling.
• PET imaging experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine imaging technique and positioning for scans.
• Prepare isotopes and radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.
• Capture quality images and ensure correct labeling for PACS.
• Coordinate patient flow and maintain safety and ALARA standards.
