Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks a PET/CT Technologist / Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team in Urbana, IL. This part-time role offers 1–3 days per week with Monday required and potential for full-time hours, in a patient-focused imaging environment.

Responsibilities include imaging procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals, QA checks, and ensuring patient care and confidentiality. Qualifications include NM program graduate or candidate, NM/RT registry eligibility, and ability to

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to be graduate.
• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N).
• Ability to receive permit to practice as necessary.
• Ability to produce quality imaging with little supervision.
• Pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform equipment quality checks and adhere to QA guidelines
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring confidentiality
