Shared Medical Services is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to join our team in Illinois on a part-time basis. The role involves performing imaging procedures, administering radiopharmaceuticals and maintaining patient safety while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine Technology program or soon to graduate
• Registered/registry eligible: NMTCB-CNMT or ARRT(N)
• Ability to receive permit to practice as necessary
• Ability to produce quality imaging with little supervision
• Pass pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and physical

Responsibilities

• Competently perform imaging procedures, including administering contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals
• Perform equipment quality check and adhere to quality assurance guidelines
• Maintain compassionate patient care, comfort and safety, while ensuring patient confidentiality
