Job summary

Advocate Health's Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL seeks a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform imaging with strict safety and quality standards. You will oversee equipment operation and contribute to quality control and patient care.

The role involves rotating through Main camera, cardio diagnostics, and PET after orientation to the department, with start times between 6:30am and 7:30am for 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an AMA-accredited School of Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT NM or CNMT certification (or eligible).
• CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate image scan technique and position for patient using immobilization and support devices.
• Operate advanced and sophisticated nuclear medicine equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Coordinate quality control areas and disseminate exams to NM Technologist.
• Provide instruction and orientation to new technologists.
• Participate in problem-solving for patient care, operations, and morale.
• Present and maintain a professional standard.

Education

IEMA accreditation in Medical Radiation Technology

ARRT NM or CNMT certification

CPR certification within 30 days of hire
