Job summary

Shields Health Care Group, Inc. is seeking a PET technologist to provide professional patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. Part-time or per diem availability includes Saturdays and weekend hours, with responsibilities in image production, patient prep, and data entry.

The role requires nuclear medicine certification, ARRT/NMTCB registration, CPR, and at least one year of experience, along with strong patient interaction skills and ability to assist with IVs and mobility.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license for the employed state.
• CPR certification is mandatory.
• ARRT and/or NMTCB registration required.
• Minimum of one year nuclear medicine experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate PET equipment to produce images and measure activity.
• Perform hot lab duties and ensure patient safety at all times.
• Position and comfort patients, monitor during exams.
• Record exam data and issue films as appropriate.
• Coordinate with radiologists and assist clerical staff as needed.
