Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our imaging team. Under the supervision of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, you will perform NM/PET studies using various cameras and radiopharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

• Certified NM technologist (NMTCB or NMT) required.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider.
• MRT Texas license is required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine/P.E.T Technologist performs general radiographic procedures.
• Performs tests in-patients and out-patients with a high degree of independent judgment.
• Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine cameras and equipment.
• Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
• Demonstrates proper radiation safety practices.
