Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician to perform nuclear medicine and PET procedures under physician guidance, using diverse cameras and radiopharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT).
• MRT Texas state licensure required.
• ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification required.
• NMTCB PET certification preferred.
• Current BLS provider (AHA or ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiographic procedures under supervision.
• Apply isotopes for radiographic diagnosis with appropriate independence.
• Conduct tests for in-patients and out-patients.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine cameras and related equipment.
• Administer pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals per scope of practice.
• Maintain radiation safety practices.
