Job summary

Wellstar in Georgia seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging and exams in our department. You will set up equipment, position patients, verify orders, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies per protocol.

You must have an Associates degree in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical patient care, ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT certification, and BLS. Collaboration with radiologists and ongoing education are expected.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• Nuclear medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or CNMT required on hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate NM equipment and adjust technique for best study quality.
• Verify orders, prepare patient history and identify patient.
• Review images, ensure privacy, and release patient with radiologist input.
• Assist other technologists and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Restock supplies and maintain a clean, orderly NM department.
