Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging under department procedures. You will set up equipment, position patients and perform exams with independent judgment to support diagnostic quality.

The role requires an Associates in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and ARRT Nuclear Technology certification; BLS is required. This is a full-time day shift in Georgia with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• Nuclear Medicine experience preferred (1 year).
• Certifications required at hire: ARRT Nuclear Tech or CNMT; BLS instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adjust techniques to obtain best image quality for each patient.
• Operate NM equipment and ensure calibration and safety.
• Verify patient identity and orders; perform preprocedural checks.
• Restock supplies and maintain department cleanliness.
• Respond to emergencies and assist team staff as needed.
