Job summary

Wellstar Georgia seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the radiology team. You will perform a variety of NM procedures, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams.

Requirements include an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT Nuclear Technology certification, and 1 year of clinical experience; nuclear medicine experience preferred. Full-time role with day shift and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical patient care experience.
• Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality and patient safety.
• Operate NM equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Verify patient identity and procedure orders.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.
• Document procedures accurately in RIS/PACS.
• Provide patient care and education using AIDET principles.
