Job summary

Wellstar Healthcare is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, age-appropriate imaging services within our Georgia facilities. The role involves setting up equipment, positioning patients, and performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures with independent judgment.

We are looking for candidates with an Associate's in Radiologic Technology, at least 1 year of clinical experience, and ARRT Nuclear Technology or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Associates Radiologic Technology required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting caring for patients is required.
• Minimum 1 year of Nuclear medicine experience is preferred.
• ARRT Nuclear Technology or Cert Nuclear Med Tech; Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Responsibilities

• Adjust technique to optimize image quality while ensuring patient safety.
• Report equipment malfunctions promptly and maintain infection control.
• Prepare and position patients, verify orders, and document procedures accurately.
• Ensure proper patient identification and marker usage; review images for diagnostic quality.
