Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapies using Nuc Med and PET/CT systems. You will review orders, patient history, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role includes image transfer, after-hours ICT communications, and mentoring students or new staff as needed. The position requires CNMT within 1 year, active radiologic licensure, BLS within 30 days, and the ability to coordinate patient flow

Qualifications

• Formal education in radiologic technology or related field.
• CNMT certification within 1 year.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA).
• BLS within 30 days - AHA.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical therapeutic administration.
• Administers IV radiopharmaceuticals and conducts veni-puncture.
• Reviews radiology orders and patient history for medical necessity.
• Transfers and verifies image data in PACS and provides history for Radiologist interpretation.
• Maintains imaging equipment and workplace safety.
