Job summary

Carle Health in the United States is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and assist with radiopharmaceutical administration in alignment with department protocols and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires licensure as a Radiologic Technologist with CNMT/NMT credentials, strong patient care, and ability to coordinate tasks in a fast-paced environment. A sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Qualified radiologic technologist with CNMT and/or NMT credentials as required.
• Licensure in radiography and regional certifications must be current.
• Proficiency with PACS/RIS and radiopharmaceutical administration.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic studies and radiopharmaceutical administration per protocols.
• Review orders, patient history, and labs to determine appropriate exams.
• Administer IV radiopharmaceuticals and conduct pregnancy screening when needed.
• Transfer and verify images in PACS and coordinate with Radiologist.
• Maintain equipment, supply inventories, and enforce safety standards.
• Support teaching of students and new staff; cover additional modalities if required.
