Atlantic Health System seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technician to prepare and render radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies. The role involves calibrating imaging equipment, performing diagnostic studies with scanners, and ensuring strict radiation safety compliance under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate holds an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program, NJDEP nuclear medicine license, and ARRT/NMTCB/CAMRT certifications. Prior office-based experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• AMA approved Nuclear Medicine program graduate
• Associates/Technical Degree in related field
• NJDEP license in nuclear medicine
• Registration or certification by ARRT, NMTCB, or CAMRT

Responsabilités

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceutical doses under physician direction.
• Calibrate equipment.
• Perform diagnostic studies using scanners to image organs.
• Measure radioactivity with Geiger counters and detectors.
• Administer therapeutic radiopharmaceutical doses under physician guidance.
• Follow radiation safety procedures.
