Job summary

Atlantic Health System seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technician to prepare and render radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies. You will work with scanners and gamma cameras, calibrate equipment, and ensure patient safety.

The role requires an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program graduate with NJDEP licensure and national certification. You will contribute to best-in-class imaging services across our NJ facilities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine.
• Licensure and national certifications required for nuclear medicine practice.
• License and/or certification per state and national regulations.

Responsibilities

• Mixes stock solutions and calculates doses under physician direction.
• Calibrates equipment and performs diagnostic imaging as prescribed.
• Measures radioactivity using standard instruments.
• Administers therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and disposal protocols.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
